Special Activation Precincts

A Special Activation Precinct is a dedicated area in a regional location identified by the NSW Government to become a thriving business hub.

  • freight and logistics
  • defense
  • advanced manufacturing
  • renewable energy
  • agribusiness
  • tourism

How will Special Activation Precincts be delivered?

Dự đoán xổ sốSpecial Activation Precincts bring the Department of Regional NSW, the and the , together to plan, coordinate and deliver successful precincts.

There are five key elements that can create a Special Activation Precinct, these are:

1. Fast track planning

Dự đoán xổ sốStreamlined planning and approval processes to provide certainty and confidence to businesses and investors.

2. Infrastructure investment

Tailored investment in enabling infrastructure to support local and business needs, which may include roads, utilities, waste management and digital connectivity.

3. Government-led studies

Dự đoán xổ sốTo ensure strategic land use and infrastructure planning for the precinct.

4. Government-led development

Dự đoán xổ sốTo coordinate each precinct’s development in line with the social, economic and environmental requirements for each region.

5. Business concierge

Dự đoán xổ sốTargeted business and concierge services to attract investment and support businesses to establish and grow in each precinct.

Support for moving to Regional NSW

The NSW Government has committed $20 million to the , with financial incentives including grants and interest-free loans, to make it easier for businesses to relocate to a precinct in regional NSW

of up to $10,000 per worker are also available to help attract skilled employees to regional NSW businesses.
