
What’s this about?
The NSW Public Lighting Code governs the relationship between public lighting service providers and their customers.
A new version of the code came into effect on 1 July 2019. It requires a review to be carried out by the end of 2020 to ensure that the terms of the code remain appropriate for achieving the relevant policy objectives.
Dự đoán xổ sốThe Department of Planning, Industry and Environment has prepared a draft amended code. It will provide additional transparency for service provider compliance with service standards and a restructuring of the administration of service standards.
The draft has been informed by consultation with members of the Public Lighting Forum. This consultative group includes representatives of public lighting service providers and customers.

Dự đoán xổ sốSubmissions are invited from interested stakeholders on any part of the code but particularly for the proposed amendments. Feedback is particularly sought on Schedule I and whether proposed repair standards and allowances for fault conditions are appropriate.
